Step 1:

Register a domain name. You will need to make sure the registrar allows changes to the DNS (Domain Name Service) settings. Here is a registrar that has been tested and will work:

Step 2:

Set the DNS A Record settings to point to address 50.62.242.87. This is the IP Address for the Runagamesite server. If you cannot direct your domain to point to this address then you will not be able to run a game site. That is why I would recomend usning Godaddy for your domain registration because it has been tested. Also here is a step by step walkthrough for Godaddy. Keep in mind that these settings sometimes take a little while to update. Once the DNS settings have been adjusted you can test it by typing in your domain name in the address bar. It should take your to a basic default gamesite with 30 free games. Once you have registered you will receive 1,000 randomly selected games.

Login to Godaddy and look under the Domains section of your account. You will need to open the advanced details page. It will look like this



You will need to click on the Total DNS Control link. It will bring up a page that will look like this



Just click on the edit link on the right of the A (Host) section. Where it says "Points to IP Address" type in 50.62.242.87 then save. This is all you have to do to setup your domain.

Step 3:

Register on this site to be able to setup and configure your site. Once you add your site to your account you will receive your 1,000 free games. New games will automatically be added to your site periodically. This will keep visitors coming back to your site.

Step 4:

If you would like to be able to make money on your site you will also need to sign up for a free Google Adsense account. Once your adsence account is setup you can create an ad that will be show on your site on the game page. The ad should the the 728 x 90 Leaderboard sized ad. The coloring and other styles are up to you. There are two ads on the game page. One add will be yours and the other ad will belong to runagamesite.com.

You will also earn money from referrals. When someone signs up for a new account from one of your sites, your ads will appear on the game page instead of the runagamesite ad about 20% of the time.
